Book Reviews

While most of my reviewing is done for Green Man Review or Sleeping Hedgehog, occasionally I decide to post a review here  instead. Any reviews, here or elsewhere, that I write, should be viewed with the following disclaimer:

I may have received the book or reviewed item for free from the publisher or producer. This in no way implies an expectation of a positive review on anyone’s part. I am always extremely clear with potential reviewees that I don’t say nice things unless I mean them, and if I don’t like something I generally just don’t review it these days. Given that I ain’t gettin’ paid for this, it ain’t really worth my time to trash on other people’s lit’rary efforts, if’n you see what I mean. I’d rather spend my time spreading the love. So, there you go. There’s also an actual legal code thingy I’m supposed to quote, but if you really care about that, go look at the formal statement on the Green Man Review site. I’ll stand by that one.
